About
This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of fingerpicking in a clear, structured way, helping players develop control, coordination, and musical application on the guitar. Across seven structured lessons, you’ll build your technique step by step, starting with the fundamentals of hand positioning and finger control, before moving into well-known patterns and more musical applications. The focus throughout is on developing coordination, timing, and confidence so your playing feels natural rather than forced. You’ll work through a range of essential techniques including PIMA picking, Travis picking, and alternating bass lines, along with learning how to bring out melody within your chord playing. Each lesson is supported with practical exercises, drills, and backing tracks so you can apply what you’re learning straight away and hear real progress in your playing. This is a hands-on course built around results. Whether you’re completely new to fingerpicking or looking to tidy up your technique, you’ll come away with a solid foundation and the ability to use fingerpicking confidently in real musical situations.
