About
The Blues Rock Improvisation Module 2 course is designed to help guitarists move beyond simply running pentatonic scale shapes and start creating solos that connect more clearly with the music underneath them. Across the course, you’ll explore intervals, major and natural minor scales, triads, target tones, playing over chord changes, and mixing major and minor pentatonics. The aim is to give you a stronger understanding of why certain notes work over certain chords, so you can make more confident and deliberate choices when improvising. With practical exercises, backing tracks and play-along material throughout, the course will help you develop more melodic phrasing, better fretboard awareness and a more musical approach to blues and rock soloing.
