Blues Rock Improvisation Level 2 Workshop
Continue your improvising journey past the pentatonics in this day long workshop

Workshop Overview:
If you already know your pentatonic shapes but still feel like your solos sound like you’re just running up and down scales, this workshop is designed to help you break out of that. Over the course of the day, we’ll look at how to make your improvising sound more musical by understanding intervals, major and minor sounds, triads and target notes, and how to follow the chord changes rather than simply playing one shape over everything. This is aimed at guitarists who already have some basic improvising experience and want to take the next step into more confident blues and rock soloing. We’ll work through practical exercises, play-along examples and backing tracks so you can actually hear and apply each idea as we go. By the end of the workshop, you should have a much clearer understanding of how to build solos that react to the music, create stronger melodies and sound far more intentional.
