In this lesson James teaches the intro / main riff for fast car by Tracy Chapman. This requires a capo on the 2nd fret and is based on a C major to G major picked pattern using diads up the neck. This is a really cool riff and I find myself playing it all the time and this piece is a great gateway riff for getting into fingerpicking on Acoustic guitar. Make sure to use the Thumb, index and middle fingers.
