I have done what I set out to do for the challenge which was to learn to sing and play the song with the proper strumming pattern. It's not perfect but "good enough for jazz" as the saying goes 😂 Like any song I learn I will be forever refining it. I think the June challenge definitely gave me focus; I really enjoyed it, thanks James!

That question posed about favourite guitarists is nigh on impossible to answer but I went with an old favourite, Peter Green and a current favourite Myles Kennedy. The first rightly revered the second under-rated, IMHO. Does anyone else feel like they are a beginnner guitarist forever. I’ve no idea what my level is but in my mind I’m always a beginner (even after years of playing). It’s not really important but I just wondered if anyone else feels the same. Also today was a landmark for me as I played the Nirvana unplugged song along with James’s play through, I transitioned from the third fret to the tenth without looking down at the fretboard for the first time. It took me by surprise so I did it again about 6 more times. It’s really given me a boost as I never thought I’d be able to change frets without looking. This platform really works and kudos to James for being a brilliant teacher 😁
