Hello everyone,

I wanted to give you all a little sneak peek behind the curtain at what has been happening this past week.

I have been busy rebuilding the website in the background, and I am aiming to go live with it sometime next week. The biggest change is how I have structured our content; I have now categorised every song lesson into six distinct levels.

Level 1 is for the super duper basics, while Level 6 covers the heavy-duty stuff like the Hotel California solo or Sultans of swing.

By segregating the songs into these different abilities, I can now build structured courses and materials that focus on the specific topics and techniques appropriate for that level.

On top of the website overhaul, we are also moving to a new schedule with two lessons every week:

1. The Full Academy Lessons: This will include all the supporting documents and will be released at teatime every Monday, starting from Friday the 9th of January.
   

2. Riff of the Week: Starting Monday the 12th of January, I will be dropping a Riff of the Week. This is going to be a bit like Riffmas—lighthearted and fun for your practice—just without the prizes! We will run this for at least the first quarter of the year.

I am also starting to build out new course materials based on what you have been asking for, including things like dedicated tremolo picking sessions and structured practice routines. Rather than uploading these Ad hoc Im aiming to upload a decent batch of these all at once this term.

I am really excited to show you how all of this will help you progress more systematically. More to follow :)
