Q: Blues Improv Lesson 7/8
Hi @James Kuhnel,
I'm looking through the pdfs and videos of lessons 7 & 8. In Lesson 7 "The Blues Scale" the pdf shows that the Blue Note (flat 5) is on the 'G' string for Position 2. The Blue Note for Position 3 is on the 'e' string.
In the video of Lesson 8 - Licks: At the point where you discuss the 'BB Box' at position 2 you refer to fret 11 on the 'e' string as the "Blue Note", however this note is the Major 3rd and Not the b5. It sounds ok, but I'm thinking that is because it mixes major with minor which is good, however the reference to it being the "Blue Note" is confusing. Is this just a video comment thing?
