In keeping with @Kate Pop's recent question about favourite guitar solos here's another. As a 70s teenager I tend to think of that era as my musical main course. I have though discovered lots of tasty morsels since then, great music & musicians. I like lyrical ballads with rhythm and that for sure drew me to Greenday. I feel that my best 'find' though was the indie band ~ The Airborne Toxic Event. Mikel Jollett, their lead singer, pens some brilliant songs. His guitarist Stephen weaves some lovely fills too but the whole band is top notch.
